In 2026, the classic MINI is getting a complete overhaul – meet the MINI Paul Smith Edition.
Forget the standard cream or silver shells you’re used to; this collaboration sees the cars boast a whole new exterior and even pays homage to the designer’s hometown of Nottingham, UK.
From flashy radiator grilles to special roof colors, the designer has specced out the cars to the absolute max.
But the real pièce de résistance is the interior of the cabin.

Meet the MINI Paul Smith Edition – a true icon through and through
MINI is a quintessentially British car brand through and through, and thanks to this new collaboration, the creativity of the brand has been taken to new levels.
The car manufacturer has teamed up with fashion designer Paul Smith to deliver a version of his iconic design language, ‘Classic with a Twist’.
The fully electric MINI Cooper Paul Smith Edition is the first of the releases to be unleashed into the world, and the car is small but mighty.
With the ability to launch from 0-100kmh in a mere 6.7 seconds, the Paul Smith SE also boasts front-wheel drive and 218hp.
With the car available in both Midnight Black, Inspired White, and Statement Grey, customers have an array of looks to choose from.
The all-important tires also pack a punch on the MINI Paul Smith Edition, with 8-inch ‘Night Flash Spoke Black’ alloys, accompanied by a Dark Steel-tinted clear coat.
For those in search of a more mysterious ride, the Midnight black exterior and black roof with Paul Smith’s stripes give the three-door a whole new demeanour.
Inspired white, on the other hand, provides the car with a striking look. The roof comes in a special ‘Nottingham Green’ color, with the stripes once again taking shape on the driver’s side roof edge.

Inside the MINI, there is one big twist
As you enter the cabin, the car door projects a light and ‘welcomes the driver with a friendly hello’.
But that isn’t the only special feature the designer has implemented.
The words ‘Everyday is a new beginning’ also adorn the sill of the door, along with the designer’s trademark rabbit on the floor mat, too.
With Brits well known for their dry humor, the car echoes funny features throughout, and of course includes the classic stripes on the wheel too.
The first model to cross the production line is the fully electric MINI Cooper Paul Smith Edition, with quarter two of 2026 seeing the release of the MINI Cooper 5-door and MINI Cooper Convertible.
