You might think you have seen your fair share of custom Lamborghini models lately, but surely one made (almost) entirely of wood is something new — and the process could be best described as tedious, to put it lightly.

A Vietnamese YouTuber and craftsman who goes by ND – Woodworking Art created a Lamborghini Vision GT out of wood with his son, and it actually works.

Although it technically ‘runs,’ it’s best to drive it on a driveway rather than take it out on the highways.

Man carves out a Lamborghini Vision GT from wood

If you’re wondering where you have heard about this guy before, he also built a wooden Tesla Cybertruck a while ago.

Elon Musk even had something to say to him, replying to his post on X.

Anyhow, this Lamborghini Vision GT is no joke — while it may be a tad bit smaller than an actual car, the craftsman paid attention to even the smallest of details.

The actual wooden parts sit on a sheet metal chassis that gives the car a sense of durability.

It even has an actual set of wheels because wooden wheels won’t cut it on the road.

The unbelievably creative YouTuber even gave special attention to these wheels by adding wooden wheel covers and rims.

He shared the process of building the entire thing in a video on his YouTube channel.

And let us tell you, it involves a lot of wooden parts.

By ‘a lot’, we mean several hundred, if not thousands, of precisely-cut parts.

From the front bumper to the spoiler, each piece needed to be cut according to his design specs using different machinery.

After he had all his Lego blocks sorted, what was left was putting it all together by using loads of industrial glue and screws.

And, of course, polishing, painting, and several other finishing touches.

What’s a futuristic Lamborghini concept car if it doesn’t have any unusual lights?

He took care of that by chipping in some RGB lights on the car’s edges.

The end result is incredible.

If you’re not familiar with his work, the man behind ND Woodworking Art is one of the best in the game.

He owns a sizeable collection of such wooden cars, and it includes everything from a Ford F150 Lightning to a train.

Oh, and did we mention a fully-fledged tank?

Case in point — creating something like a wooden Lamborghini may sound like a fun home project, but the process requires immense precision, patience, and will.

This creation is mesmerizing, and – after all – it’s not every day you see a wooden concept car on the road.
