One-of-a-kind superhero license plate sells for huge price tag

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a superhero, this license plate on eBay is perfect for you.

However, the price tag attached to feeling like you could fly would cost you an almost superhuman amount.

The license plate in question reads ‘Batman-1’ and is currently selling for $350,000.

For that amount, you could put down a deposit on the Batcave.

The superhero license plate that won’t come cheap

This license plate comes from Hungary and has been touted as ‘one of the most beautiful and valuable’ in the world.

The listing reads: “It is unique in the whole world and this is the only piece of it that exists.

“Very rare piece. There will never be another of these in the world. 1/1.”

So we gather that it’s quite unique.

Perhaps that feeling of owning the only Batman license plate in the world is worth splashing out $350,000 on?

You may need to be as rich as Bruce Wayne to take this home, but feeling like Batman would be pretty cool.

Double points if you can attach it to your very own Batmobile.

Many a Bat fan has tried their hand at becoming a caped crusader through their car.

One created a replica of the Batmobile as it appeared in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Each back wheel weighed 500kg and it came with a Formula 1-style steering wheel.

We can’t say whether or not it’s up for the job of catching the Joker, but it certainly looks the part, right?

Others have taken on different incarnations of Batman’s ride, including this Tim Burton-esque replica and this Dark Knight-style creation.

Other license plates with an eye watering price tag

Perhaps if you’re not partial to the Caped Crusader, you might not understand spending $350,000 on a license plate.

But believe it or not, there are pricier ones out there.

One even sold for $9.5 million at a charity auction.

And even then, it’s reportedly only the sixth most expensive in the world.

The $9.5 million license plate simply read ‘AA8’, which isn’t as cool as ‘Batman 1’.
