A Texan man has traveled to Ohio in search of a special car.
He went to the Buckeye State, in particular, for one of the most special Mustangs in existence.
This dark green, 1968 Ford Mustang is one of the lowest mileage Mustangs left.
And it is an absolute time capsule of a bygone era.

Today’s story comes to us from a Texan car collector.
The story itself, however, comes from the city of Eaton, Ohio.
Dennis Collins is a name that is familiar to many in the car world.
The Texan native, who is a successful businessman, became obsessed with cars at an early age.
In fact, his business ventures started with opening up his own car dealership.
In 1984, the car fanatic opened Collins Bros Jeep – CBJeep – in Wylie, Texas.
Aside from simply buying and selling Jeeps, Collins also made his name in a different way.

His shop became renowned for customization and restoration efforts for all things Jeep.
Since 2007, his shop has offered custom, off-road parts and accessories for Jeep vehicles.
However, Dennis’s love for Jeep is not the star of this story today.
Rather, it’s a Ford Mustang – but it’s not exactly any Ford Mustang.
This particular 1968 Mustang is the lowest mileage such car in existence.
And Dennis flew from Texas to Eaton, Ohio, to check it out.
Dennis then met the seller’s family at their house in the suburbs of Eaton.
After making the introductions, the group headed into the garage to check out the car.
The metallic green, 1968 Ford Mustang was in pristine condition, to say the least.
The elderly couple who were selling the car bought it from some neighbours back in 1990.
Dennis told the couple that it was the lowest mileage Mustang he’d ever bought.
In fact, the current couple had put just 13 miles on the car in all that time.
Dennis was amazed at just how well this Mustang had been looked after.
He genuinely couldn’t believe that everything added up – usually, these things are too good to be true.
Dennis started up the engine and was absolutely delighted with the Mustang.
Hopefully, this 1968 Mustang is shown off and displayed to the world.
