This giant Hummer is so over-the-top that swapping a tire might set you back more than buying a Toyota Corolla.
It looks like something straight out of a movie set, except it is very real.
Despite looking like a sci-fi vehicle, it is somehow fully functional.
Suffice to say, this isn’t a car you bring on a grocery run.

There are actual rooms inside the car
The vehicle in question is the Hummer H1X3, a one-of-a-kind creation that takes the already bulky Hummer H1 and scales it up to absurd proportions.

Measuring roughly three times the size of the original, the H1X3 stretches around 46 feet in length, stands about 21 feet tall, and weighs in at over 60 tons.
To put that into perspective, it is closer in size to a small building than a conventional SUV.

Despite its massive footprint, this giant is not just for show.
It is fully drivable, powered by multiple diesel engines that allow it to move at modest speeds.
The interior is just as wild as the exterior, featuring multiple levels, staircases, and even functional living spaces.
Inside, you will find rooms designed for relaxation and entertainment, turning the vehicle into something between a car and a mobile structure.

Replacing a tire will cost you more than a Toyota Corolla
The H1X3 is owned by Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, a member of Abu Dhabi’s ruling family who is famous for his extraordinary car collection.
Often referred to as the ‘Rainbow Sheikh,’ he has built a reputation for commissioning unique, oversized, and sometimes downright bizarre vehicles.
His collection includes everything from a fleet of rainbow-colored Mercedes sedans, to massive custom-built trucks and military-style machines.

He is also known for owning some of the largest vehicles in the world, many of which are housed in his personal museums in the UAE.
While many collecting luxury vehicles is a common hobby for someone of his status, his collection revolves more around vehicles that stretch engineering limits.

This is perhaps why the H1X3 remains one of his most iconic vehicles.
It’s obviously not designed for daily commuting, given that it will take up multiple lanes even in the world’s widest freeway.
Its tires, which cost more than $25,000 each (more than the cost of an entire Toyota Corolla), highlight just how extreme this build is.
Every component has been scaled up, pushing the boundaries of what qualifies as a car.
Sometimes, bigger really is better.
