The V12 Lamborghini Diablo supercar from Victoria’s Secret has finally hit the road again, after 14 years in hiding in the United States.

VINWiki founder and car enthusiast Ed Bolian has loved trying to find mysterious and unusual cars, such as the El Chappo McLaren F1.

He recently got his hands on an iconic Lamborghini Diablo that had been sold directly from a Victoria’s Secret catalog.

It took Bolian an incredible amount of time to find the car, and having finally done so, he got it on the road again and uploaded a video onto the VINWiki YouTube channel recounting the first drive.

The supercar itself was in the 1989 Victoria’s Secret Christmas Dreams and Fantasies catalog.

That is not where you’d expect to see an Italian supercar on sale!

The car had a crash in 2006 but was then rebuilt, and it was found in an aircraft hangar in the middle of Illinois.

It needed a proper going over, however, as the Lamborghini hadn’t moved under its own power in 14 years.

Stripping the car down revealed a few interesting little details.

The name Nina was inscribed onto a part of the car, she’s the daughter of one of the assemblymen at Lamborghini.

A guy called James Chaves confirmed this to Bolian, saying that Nina was now his wife!

Bolian’s video recounted some parts of the car’s restoration, and the work has transformed the Lamborghini.

It’s now much cleaner and tidier, and the chrome wheels add a bit of 1990s glamor to the Diablo.

When Bolian took the car out for a drive, it wasn’t 100 percent finished.

However, the VINWiki founder was surprised when he finally got behind the wheel of the supercar.

The engine ran sweetly, the transmission was smooth, and it drove very nicely.

Bolian admitted that, despite only having 11,000 miles, he expected the Diablo to be a ‘basket case’

But the smoothness of the car and how well it drove after its restoration came as a bit of a shock.

He was over the moon with his purchase, stating that Diablo was too nice for him.

After years of hiding, like this Jota Diablo, it’s great to see the Victoria’s Secret Lambo on the road once again.
