Meet Kiara Tymec, the 22-year-old from Chicago who is building a fully operational Ironman suit in her garage.
Taking to social media to document the process from start to finish, Kiara has amassed more than 500,000 followers on TikTok alone.
And it’s no wonder why.

She created the suit using a 3D printer and built all the electrics herself (talk about a Jack of all trades).
She also used artificial intelligence to help design it.
Kiara planned the Mark 6 suit to look as ‘screen accurate’ as possible, with the same scars and dents across the helmet as the real thing.
Then she fully motorized it.
To open and close the helmet, all she has to do is clench her chin – yep you read that right.
There are no buttons, it’s fully activated with the movement of her chin muscles.
She also installed LED lights into the eye sockets which glow when the helmet’s on and automatically turn off when the helmet’s lifted.
It’s no wonder she calls the helmet her “crown jewel”.

Kiara also built missile pods into the shoulder pads.
This was no easy feat – she built four prototypes of the 3D printed missiles before she finally got one that functioned the way she needed it to.

This isn’t the first Ironman suit Kiara has built either.
The 22-year-old built another entire Ironman suit before called The Mark 42 project.
It was totally voice-activated.
She could speak into a microphone inside the helmet and the suit would move accordingly.
If you’re wondering how Kiara learned to create a project as insanely cool as this, well, she’s not exactly an engineering student.
She’s actually an art major at college and teaches herself everything she needs to know about engineering in her downtime.
“All you really need is the motivation to be able to teach yourself how to do this stuff,” she said.
“I’ve been wanting to do this since the eighth grade, so I just did it.
“It’s been a long-term dream of mine.”
She’s also massively into cosplay, so she has a bunch of opportunities to wear her creations too.
