If you’re scratching your head at this headline, we’re serious, you can buy a Bugatti from Costco for less than a grand – the only catch is it’s a scooter.

Priced from $919.99, Costco is now offering the official Bugatti 9.0 Electric Scooter. And yes, that price even includes shipping.

In some ways, it actually kind of is the Bugatti of the e-scooter world.

Produced in collaboration with Bytech, the scooter’s 600W electric motor is enough to get it to a top speed of 29.9km/h (18.6mph).

It even has cruise control for added convenience.

Its lithium-ion battery offers up to 40 kilometers (25 miles) of range, depending on which of its three speed modes you leave it in.

The rims its riding on aren’t quite as big as on a Chiron, but including the tire, they measure in at just nine inches.

It’s made of a fittingly exotic material to be a Bugatti: magnesium alloy.

Only making it even techier is its complex lighting setup.

Not only does it offer a headlight and taillight, but there are turn signals as well.

It also projects the ‘EB’ logo out behind you at night, letting everyone know you aren’t just riding any ordinary scooter.

Although only two reviews are through for it on Costco’s website, they’re both positive and afford it a five-star rating.

“We picked up 2 units in store. Very easy setup, fancy packaging inside,” one customer wrote.

“Cool auto cruise at top speed, nice turn indicators but don’t drop it because the lights are at the end of handle bar.”

Another shopper concluded: “Looks nice and rides well. Not the best value compared to others but if you want the branding then you gotta pay a little extra lol.”

If you’re tempted, Costco appears to have plenty of stock currently, with just a five-day delivery estimation time.
