TAG Heuer is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 with a pair of outstanding watches limited to 250 and 500 units respectively.
From the strap to the signature ‘Carrera’ lettering, the attention to detail is incredible.

This collab was long overdue because both the watch and the car are named after the Carrera Panamericana.

The car was hugely popular in the 1950s for a border-to-border endurance race that took place in Mexico, along the world-famous Pan-American highway.
TAG Heuer was sponsoring the race while Porsche was, well, winning the race, and that’s why both companies decided to launch a product named after the race.
Officially known as the ‘TAG Heuer Carrera x Porsche RS 2.7‘, the watch is available in two colors, both inspired by the colorways for the Porsche car.
The first model comes in with a silver grey case, white and blue dial and matching strap or bracelet.
The second model combines an 18k red gold case with a white and red dial, and a matching red leather bracelet.
The white and blue model is limited to 500 units and costs $6,900, while the gold version is limited to 250 units, with a price tag of $22,200.

TAG Heuer was founded in Switzerland by Edouard Heuer in 1860.
It was actually only known as ‘Heuer’ until 1985, when it was acquired by a holding company called TAG Group.
