This is the latest iteration of the Omega Speedmaster.
It’s a chunky gold piece that harks back to one of Omega’s most iconic watches.
There’s only minor issue: it costs $450,000.
Officially known as the Omega Speedmaster Chrono Chime, the watch owes its name to the chiming chronograph complication you’ll find inside its 45 mm case.
So how does it work?
It’s basically like a chronograph, but you also have a pusher to literally make it chime.

It’s a nice feature.
And while it obviously doesn’t bring anything to the table in terms of usability, this is exactly the sort of thing collectors are usually after.
Aside from its size and the chiming feature, the Chrono Chime sets itself apart from other Omega Speedmaster models thanks to the beautiful dark blue dial representing a star-studded sky at night.
Along with this crazy Speedmaster, Omega has also released another model with the same complication and a similar name.
However, that’s where the similarities end.
The second model is a tribute to the original chronograph pocket watch that Omega developed for the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
It’s fitted with a vintage-style case with an integrated bracelet with the crown positioned the 12 o’clock.
This piece is just as expensive, priced at $420,000.
About the Omega Speedmaster
Arguably Omega’s most popular line of watches, the Speedmaster series was introduced in 1957 and has famously been to the Moon.
Literally.
Back in the 1960s, Omega partnered up with NASA to become the Agency’s official timekeeper.
Buzz Aldrin wore an Omega during Apollo 11, and his Speedmaster became the first watch to be worn on the Moon.
