This Ferrari 430 Scuderia has only 70 miles on its clocks – and it’s heading to auction

Virtually new, unregistered, and with only delivery miles on its clocks - crazy.

Ferrari 430 Scuderia

There isn’t a mistake in the headline of this story – a Ferrari 430 Scuderia with delivery miles really is heading to auction.

We couldn’t quite believe our eyes when we spotted the supercar listing on the Silverstone Auctions website.

How could anyone in their right mind not drive this beauty?

It’s highly unlikely an unregistered, as-new 430 Scuderia, will come to market again.

After all, there were only ever 279 right-hand drive examples manufactured – and it’s rather special.

CHECK THIS OUT!

In 2008, Ferrari put into production their new lightweight 430, evocatively named the Scuderia.

Replacing the 360 Challenge Stradale was always going to be a tough proposition.

But with 510bhp, a new lighting fast gear change, and an exhaust note which sounded pure F1, the Scuderia managed to be quicker, yet a lot less demanding to drive than the CS.

This particular Ferrari 430 Scuderia was supplied in right-hand drive to Hong Kong in 2009.

Finished in Bianco Avus with a Nero Alcantara interior, factory options included carbon fiber exterior trim, Alcantara trim interior, and door covers in carbon fiber.

That’s in addition to brake calipers in yellow, steering wheel with upper crown in carbon fiber and LEDs, and a fire extinguisher.

At the time of cataloging, the odometer showed just 112km, the equivalent of just 70 miles.

Since delivery in 2009, this special-edition Ferrari has been dry stored correctly in a temperature and humidity-controlled facility.

Accompanying the car is the original Ferrari book-pack, original purchase contract, spare key, tool kit, tyre inflator, and fitted Ferrari car cover.

Ferrari 430 Scuderia auction price

Although it’s expected to fetch between £150,000 and £180,000 ($184,000 – $220,000) at auction, we think it will sell for much more.

Surely someone with the money will want to add a virtually new, special-edition Ferrari from a decade when Ferrari absolutely dominated the F1 Constructors World Championship, to their collection.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, which goes to auction on Saturday 25th February at 14:00 GMT.
