Most of the time, there’s nothing special about an age-old Ford Econoline van — unless — it’s a supercharged Ford Coyote van.
That’s right, a father-son duo modified an old van and created the coolest Ford van we’ve seen to this point.
This video shows the van in action — and it’s absolutely out of this world.
You would never expect to see a Ford Econoline capable of a drag race with an engine sound so appealing parked on the road.
Which is why the DeBerti duo created this monstrosity of a machine.

As featured in AutotopiaLA, the duo mentioned that they completed the build in no more than 90 days.
The deadline was due to a video series they were a part of, which is quite something.
The Ford Econoline is the Ford Transit’s predecessor, of which there are more wild builds like this Transit converted into a luxury motorhome.
But how did they do it?
They completely replaced the chassis of the Econoline van and only kept the outer body.
Add a supercharged 5.8-liter Coyote V8 engine to the 1961 camper, and you get a Ford Coyote van.
They used a race chassis, a new exhaust system, and an air suspension system, among other extensive modifications.
After all that, the Ford Coyote van produced 850 hp effortlessly while looking slick.
Oh, and they also put in an automatic transmission, probably because they didn’t want to deal with the manual from decades ago.
The infamous Coyote V8 engine is quite capable and old but still shines today under the hood of the Ford Mustang and the Ford F-150 pickup.
However, this wasn’t the duo’s first unusual build.
They are a part of DeBerti Design, which has often been featured on TV.
If you watch the video, you can see the supercharged Ford Coyote van pulling off burnouts and donuts without breaking a sweat.
Now, that’s a van worthy of a spot in a luxury garage of supercars.
