The INEOS Grenadier was already a serious off-roader – now it’s been turned into an unstoppable $200,000 wilderness conqueror.

Thanks to a new upgrade package from German outfit LeTech, the Grenadier can now roll over just about anything.

We’re talking massive portal axles, monster tires, and enough suspension tech to climb a mountain.

It costs more than double the base vehicle, but for hardcore off-roaders, this kit makes a lot of sense.

Here’s everything you get in the INEOS Grenadier makeover

The new Trialmaster X LeTech package doesn’t hold back.

Built on the INEOS Grenadier Trialmaster trim, it includes LeTech’s own five-link suspension setup, a front winch, roof rack, gas can mount, ladder, and an LED light bar bright enough to turn night into day.

But the real game-changer? Portal axles – the same kind of high-clearance drivetrain tech used on military-grade vehicles.

They lift the Grenadier’s ground clearance to 1.5ft, and let it drive through nearly 3.5ft of water. You’re not just off-roading, you’re off the map.

The setup includes 37in BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires on 18in forged alloy wheels, custom brakes, extended wheel arches, and running boards.

Inside, you can add a lockable drawer box, tire-pressure control, Maxtrax recovery ladders, and rear LED work lights – everything you’d need to go completely off-grid.

Under the hood, nothing changes – as they say: ‘if it ain’t broke’…

You still get the rugged BMW-sourced 3.0L turbocharged inline-six, in either 282 horsepower gas or 245 horsepower diesel form.

For now, the LeTech upgrade is only available in Europe, and must be fitted at the company’s facility near Stuttgart. But considering how popular the INEOS Grenadier has been in the US, it might not stay that way long.

INEOS is building a Defender-style icon for drivers who want more

INEOS Grenadier founder Jim Ratcliffe famously started the project after Land Rover refused to sell him the rights to the original Defender.

So he made his own.

Built in France, developed in Germany, and powered by BMW, the Grenadier has sold about 8,000 units in the US alone – and the company is aiming to grow that by 50 percent.

This LeTech collaboration is all about tapping into the niche market of high-end off-roaders – the type of driver who wants ultimate performance and has the cash to pay for it.

With this $200,000 package, the Grenadier stops being just a tough SUV and becomes something closer to a custom expedition rig.

If the original model was a love letter to off-road tradition, the Grenadier Trialmaster is the all-caps reply – one that screams capability, exclusivity, and zero compromise.
