He’s number four on the list of the richest men in the world, but you might not realize that when you see the relatively modest car collection of Mark Zuckerberg.

While owning a fleet of cars certainly is a privilege, the surprisingly practical models in his car collection might just surprise you.

Non-flashy appears to be the theme of his garage with Mark Zuckerberg reportedly having owned both a Honda Fit and a Volkswagen Golf MK6 – let’s take a deep dive.

1. Mark Zuckerberg owns a Honda Fit – $17,900

The Honda Fit has a sticker price of just above $17,900.

Surprising when you consider he also owns a billionaire bunker and sits so high on the Forbes Billionaire’s list.

The Meta CEO has been seen out and about driving the unassuming, reliable, and completely relatable car,

However, the photo was taken a few years ago when his net worth was ‘only’ $30 billion.

Mark Zuckerberg’s net worth has soared over the last decade.

2. Acura TSX – $30,000

Mark Zuckerberg has owned an Acura TSX for years.

It was purchased when the car had an MSRP of around $30,000.

With our math hat on, we could tell you that’s equivalent to roughly 0.00003 percent of his net worth.

3. Volkswagen Golf GTI – $30,000

Mark Zuckerberg also owns a Volkswagen Golf GTI Mark 6.

He bought the car a few years ago and it cost him around $30,000.

Even though it costs around the same as the Acura, this is arguably a lot more fun.

The GTI is a range-topping, fun version of the Golf, with a 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) time of 6.9 seconds, which is not bad at all.

He’s not the only famous face with a surprisingly humble asset, though.

Elon Musk has owned a tiny $50,000 home.

Meanwhile, despite an impressive fleet, David Beckham’s everyday car is the last you’d expect.

All Supercar Blondie contributors undergo editorial review and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and authority in automotive journalism. After gaining her BA Hons in French and English at the University of Nottingham, Amelia embarked on a vocational diploma from the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ). This led to numerous opportunities, from interning at Vogue to being on the small team that launched Women’s Health magazine in the UK, which was named the PPA Consumer magazine of the year for three years running. As Health, Beauty and Fitness editor, Amelia personally received a Johnson & Johnson Award and was shortlisted for both PPA and BSME titles. Since then, Amelia has created content for numerous titles and brands, including the Telegraph, 111 Skin, Waitrose, Red magazine, Stylist, and Elle, as well as being Head of Content at Vitality and Editor in Chief at INLondon magazine. “My superpower is translating technical jargon about the mechanical workings of a supercar into a relatable story you’ll want to share with your friends after you’ve read it.” After joining the SB Media family as a senior journalist in September of 2023, Amelia’s role has evolved to see her heading up the SEO output of the editorial team. From researching the most ‘Google-able’ key terms to producing evergreen content - it’s been a time of hard work, growth, and success for the editorial team and the Supercar Blondie website. “I like to think of myself as a ‘method journalist’. In other words: I live and breathe whatever I am writing about. When writing about fitness, I trained as a personal trainer, and as a beauty editor, I completed an ‘expert’ in scent diploma with the Fragrance Foundation. “During my tenure at Supercar Blondie, however, I did something I never thought possible: I passed my driving test at the age of 36. One day I’d love to train as a mechanic to better understand what happens under the hood, too. “My sweet spot is providing readers with a ‘takeaway’ (read: something new they didn’t know before) after reading every one of my stories. While I don’t claim to be an expert in the automotive world, I know the experts and bodies in the field to rely on to provide our readers with an informative and thought-provoking story every time they visit the site.”
