Meguiar’s just turned 125 years old.

But instead of blowing out candles, it rolled up to Barrett-Jackson with a full-size semi-truck.

It’s one of the biggest weeks on the car calendar, where everything on wheels is under a microscope.

And the car care brand came out swinging.

How Meguiar’s is celebrating 125 years right in the thick of the action

Barrett-Jackson is one of the world’s biggest collector car auctions, where rare, restored, and outrageously expensive vehicles are rolled under bright lights and judged in real time before they’re sold.

It’s also where Meguiar’s has chosen to start its 125th anniversary celebrations last weekend.

To mark the moment, the brand brought along its Big Rig – a full-size, branded semi-truck that acted as its mobile event hub.

It served as a rolling showroom for new products, a base for Meguiar’s experts, and a workspace where cars got a last-second wipe-down before hitting the auction stage.

On board were up to 28 brand-new Meguiar’s products for 2026 – all built with simplicity in mind – such as the Heavy Duty Headlight Kit, Leather Care Kit, All-Weather Floor Mat Kit, as well as the Carpet & Cloth Cleaning Kit.

The products are aimed at tackling everyday problems like cloudy headlights, dirty leather, grimy floor mats, and stained carpets as efficiently as possible – grab the kit, fix the problem, move on.

The Big Rig also contained a new Luxury Collection of air fresheners.

But the point wasn’t just to show products on a shelf.

Meguiar’s experts were on site answering questions, while technicians worked the staging lanes, using those same products to touch up cars moments before they rolled out.

A live demonstration of how well the products actually worked under real pressure.

The old Ford truck stealing the spotlight

Parked beside the Big Rig was The Duomo, a 1956 Ford F100 panel truck that Meguiar’s chose to present as part of its anniversary display.

Built by Fat Fender Garage, the truck began life hauling furniture more than 65 years ago, staying in the same family for three generations, before being rebuilt with the kind of care and attention Meguiar’s has spent 125 years supporting.

Underneath the classic body sat a modern chassis, big brakes, and a Gen 3 Ford Coyote 5.0L V8 paired with a ten-speed automatic.

On the outside, a Burnt Orange paint shifted with the light, while the interior’s wood flooring nodded back to the truck’s working past.

It wasn’t just a showpiece.

It was a statement about the kind of cars Meguiar’s exists for – ones where detail matters, history is respected, and finish is everything.

After Scottsdale, Meguiar’s anniversary tour will continue to roll through major events all year long.

The brand continuing to spruik their 125-year approach to automotive care: show up, get hands dirty, and make cars look their best.
