The HOF 1955 is a modified G-Class Mercedes-AMG G63 created to honor British racing legend, Sir Stirling Moss and his 1955 Mille Miglia win in the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR ‘722.’

It packs 700lb-ft of torque, with a top speed of 149mph (240km/h).

What’s more, the AMG biturbo V8 engine delivers 712bhp (722PS).

That’s the very number that appeared on the side of Sir Stirling’s Mercedes.

The modified G-class

As well as what’s under the hood, this car from the German-based tuning company, HOF, also looks the part.

Its aesthetic features include red ‘722’ graphics that mimic the ‘722’ 300 SLR that Sterling Moss was in when he won the 1955 Mille Miglia.

In addition to that, it also boasts a carbon fiber body kit and vintage tartan upholstery that was inspired by the original race car.

Only ten units of the limited edition G-Class will ever be produced – so walk don’t run if you’re in the market for one.

While you can order it now, deliveries are held and will begin in 2025 in order to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Moss’ Mille Miglia victory.

That’s not all HOF has announced, though.

If you’d rather have electric power, then their camouflaged electric G-class might be what you’re looking for.

The electric ‘HOF Rebel’ is a G-Class variant, equipped with a 116kWh battery.

It packs 580bhp and a unique ‘G-Turn’ feature for on-the-spot pivoting.

Other tributes to 1955 Mille Miglia winner, Stirling Moss

HOF isn’t the first to honor the British racing driver.

The ultra-rare SLR McLaren Stirling Moss was perhaps the most radical iteration of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.

Only 75 examples were ever built.

What’s more, the fastest Mercedes G-Wagen in the world is a tribute to Lewis Hamilton.

It can produce a staggering 1,063 horsepower.
