Supercars come in all shapes and sizes
And they are loved by everyone, especially the rich and famous.
In fact, footballer Erling Haaland celebrated signing a $259M contract by splurging on a $5 million rare supercar.
Plus, content creator Mr Beast even revealed to our very own Alex Hirschi aka Supercar Blondie where he’s buying his next supercar from.
But, when it comes to the ‘Holy Trinity’ of supercars, do you know your stuff?
What cars are in the ‘Holy Trinity’?

Well, they’re actually all hypercars.
The mighty trio consists of the McLaren P1, the Ferrari LaFerrari, and the Porsche 918.
All three have mid-mounted gas and hybrid power engines, carbon-fiber tubs, active suspension, and aerodynamics.
The speedy autos are all powerful in their own way, but the fastest member of the clan isn’t what you’d expect.
The fastest part of the Holy Trinity is an underdog
Well, Carwow put the three cars to the ultimate test to see which one was the fastest on the 1/4 mile.
Considering that the McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari are light autos, you would have thought that one of those would evidently be the front-runner, right?
Well, think again.
Because the Porsche 918 surprisingly took the crown.
In fact, the McLaren’s fastest time was 10.5 seconds, and the Ferrari LaFerrari completed it in 11.1 seconds
The Porsche, though, smashed in just 10.2 seconds.
Talk about speed.
What makes the Porsche 918 so special?

Well, according to Porsche, it has some pretty special features under the hood.
These include a V8 engine with dual electric motors and a top speed of 211 mph.
Plus, it can even reach 0-60 in just 2.6 seconds, thanks to its seven-speed dual-clutch auto transmission.
Did this shock you? It was news to us, that’s for sure.
