World-renowned auto brand Toyota has unveiled its brand-new EV sedan, and it may give Tesla a run for its money.
Tesla is the dominating giant when it comes to producing electric vehicles, meaning that other brands have been known to draw inspiration from its various designs.
But, fresh from the Shanghai Auto Show, the automaker showed off a new sedan.
It’s set to be a fusion of East meets West.

Toyota has top levels of versatility
The car brand is known for producing a fleet of vehicles that have a range of uses.
It’s manufactured all manner of cars, from daily drivers to coupes and pickup trucks.
But, wait until you catch a glimpse of the latest release that will grace the auto world very soon.
The bZ7 sedan premiered at the Shanghai Auto Show

Toyota and the Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC) have revealed the bZ7.
The car is a BEV sedan and was ‘developed locally’ by GAC and Toyota, alongside the marque’s Intelligent ElectroMobility R&D Center.
That’s a whole host of companies with a lot to offer individually to the auto world.
The sedan measures more than five meters and ‘combines the strengths of each company, including Toyota’s safe, reliable, and high-quality manufacturing and China’s advanced technology,’ said the brand itself.
Japan’s premier marque also stated that it will come ready with the very latest intelligent technology.
The bZ7 is set to be the new flagship model of Toyota’s BEV line-up

The dimensions of the car match those of the Tesla Model S – so there could be some rivalry on the road, along with a sleek exterior design and a sharp set of lights
As you’d expect, inside the cabin there are high-tech screens and features, with many specifics set to be revealed in due course.
The most exciting part though? The company is working to develop the model commercially within 12 months.
So gearheads could potentially get their hands on the electric car very soon.
The bZ7 makes a great addition to the lineup of cars for China, alongside others like the bZ4X, bZ5, and Z3, to name a few.
Just maybe let go of hope that they could make their way to the US.
