Things are heating up in Florida ahead of the much-anticipated debut Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, and Red Bull ace Max Verstappen is getting into the Florida spirit ahead of the race.
The team has taken to Instagram to showcase reigning world champion Verstappen hitting the mud in a crazy custom swamp buggy.

Unsurprisingly for the team which has established itself as a powerhouse in extreme sports, the buggy appears to be a bespoke build with big, narrow wheels and knobbly tires, and a Red Bull wrap to match Verstappen’s car.
Capable of driving through water thanks to the unique wheel setup, in true American spirit, the buggy sounds to be powered by a lumpy V8 engine.
Yuki Tsunoda from Red Bull’s sister team AlphaTauri was getting in on the action as well with his own buggy wrapped to match his white and navy-coloured car as well.
It’s just the latest bit of great publicity Red Bull has run ahead of the important race, following an 11-minute promotional video recently released featuring Sergio Perez hitting the streets of New York in his car.

The Miami Grand Prix is on Monday, May 9, with the first F1 race in Miami marking the launch of an all-new track for the grid to tackle.
Currently second to Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, Verstappen will be hoping to claw back some important points in Miami as he looks towards a second title.
