Lincoln Model L100 Concept

This is the new Lincoln Model L100 Concept, arguably the most impressive concept car we’ve seen this year.

It features a sleek streamlined body and possibly the largest suicide doors ever.

Debuting at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the L100 Concept is a love letter to the brand’s 100th anniversary.

At the same time, it also showcases what the company wants to do in the future.

Design-wise, everything about the concept is devoted to aerodynamic efficiency.

Check out Alex Hirschi’s review here!

For starters, the fact that it doesn’t have a front grille helps the air flow.

Then again, it doesn’t need one because it uses electric power.

In addition to that, the integrated headlamps form a u-shaped figure that follows the entire circumconference of the hood.

Lastly, it has an elongated roofline that merges into the rear section and the trunk.

Speaking of which, you can lift the entire rear section along with the massive suicide doors to provide seamless access to the car’s cockpit.

Upon opening the doors, you’ll find a spacious, driver-centric cabin with two bench seats.

But there’s a twist: the rear one is fixed while the front one is foldable.

This being an autonomous vehicle you can, at the push of a button, convert the cabin into a usable living room and have the front bench face the rear one as the car drives itself.

Everything about the L100 Concept serves a specific purpose, including the name, which is a direct reference to the 1922 Model L from 100 years ago.

The Model L100 Concept will be visible at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Monterey, California from August 19-21, 2022.

If you’re around, you should definitely go check it out.
