It's 5.5 meters long and has a wooden bed just like the $28m Boat Tail.

Rolls-Royce concept

Is Rolls-Royce launching an off-road pickup truck?

Well, no, but one talented artist has imagined what it would look like if they did.

And it’s safe to say it’s pretty epic.

Young designer Travis Yang has just posted images of his creation to Instagram, calling it the Rolls-Royce Britannia.

The Rolls-Royce truck concept measures 5.5 meters in length, making it slightly longer than the Rolls-Royce Spectre, and two meters in width similar to the Cullinan.

At the front, the concept sports an enormously long hood, giving it an almost yacht-like appearance.

And at the back, it has a wooden bed similar to the $28 million Rolls-Royce Boat Tail.

Rolls-Royce design language

Yang also gave it huge wheels and a roof-mounted LED light bar, adding to the pickup truck’s off-road appearance.

He’s also taken inspiration from the British marque’s most recent model, the Spectre, making his concept an EV.

While the Rolls-Royce truck concept looks unlike anything Rolls-Royce has, or likely will ever release, it does effortlessly capture the beautiful design language the luxury car maker is known for.

The concept wears a duo-tone color scheme and has the iconic rear overhang.

And of course, it’s finished with the Spirit of Ecstasy.

When the 19-year-old designer introduced his creation to the world, other designers were quick to praise him for his unique concept.

“Ridiculously cool proportions. Love the boat-like graphics too. It feels totally on-brand [for Rolls-Royce],” one person said.

However one person pointed out similarities the Britannia shared with the Project Maybach.

Project Maybach

The Project Maybach was launched by Mercedes-Benz this year in collaboration with late fashion designer Virgil Abloh.

Abloh, who was the creative genius behind fashion giant Off-White, worked with Mercedes to create the six-meter long coupe.

And now the similarities have been pointed out, it’s impossible to ignore.

Regardless, it’s a seriously cool concept, especially considering it was created by a 19-year-old.

Speaking of the Project Maybach, Supercar Blondie’s Alex Hirschi got an exclusive look when it first launched.
