There’s a phone brand that everyone’s talking about, and it’s Nothing.

Literally, because that’s the name of the brand.

And now they’ve got a new phone, and everyone’s loving this new one, too.

The thing with the smartphone world is that people sometimes feel like they’ve only got three options.

You can have an iPhone, a cheap Android phone, or an expensive Android phone.

The fact that so many smartphones, nearly all of them bar iPhones in fact, run on Android creates a weird situation.

Because all those phones are technically different, but the user experience can sometimes feel the same.

Nothing Inc., founded by Chinese-Swedish tech entrepreneur Carl Pei but incorporated in the UK, has a strong focus on design and user experience.

This is part of the reason their first phone, simply named ‘Nothing Phone 1’ (pictured above), was such a huge success.

It offered a unique design and a heavily customized interface that made it feel fresh, even though it was, effectively, ‘just another Android’.

But the Phone wasn’t cheap, so in order to bring even more people on board they slashed the price and unveiled a new phone, the 2a.

It retails for $349 and comes with a two-day battery life.

It also has three microphones and an optical stabilizer – both these things are unusual for a budget phone – a 50MP camera and a 32MP selfie camera.

In fact, iPhone aside, there’s only one other phone we can think of that managed to generate a similar amount of hype and that’s the Solana Saga.

Unveiled about a year ago by Solana Labs, a crypto firm, the first Solana Saga smartphone (pictured below) was launched when the timing couldn’t be worse – after the crypto crash fueled by the FTX disaster.

However, a few months later, the Saga made a huge comeback because people, almost by accident, found out the phone included crypto airdrops worth thousands of dollars.

So now there’s a new one.

Stay tuned for that one as well.
