Beyoncé is ending the year on a high note.

And by Beyoncé, we mean her bank account.

The singer has had an extremely successful 2023, with a tour and a film under her belt.

She’s on the edge of billionaire status and has the mansion to prove it.

Last year Beyoncé was worth an impressive $300 million.

In the months since she’s increased that already-impressive number to almost a billion dollars.

She was on her Renaissance tour from May to October, which headed to 39 cities in 17 countries.

The tour cost a fortune, with incredible visuals, a huge dance crew and countless outfit changes.

She even dropped $100,000 to extend the Metro running times for her fans.

None of this made a dent in her pockets though.

Renaissance has now gone down in history as one of the highest-ever grossing tours, bringing in $579 million.

Being both a singer and a savvy businesswoman, Beyoncé managed to milk the tour further.

She released Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé, which she wrote, directed and produced.

It took over the box office, bringing in $21 million in its opening weekend.

Unfortunately, Taylor Swift promptly released her film of Eras, officially the highest grossing tour of all time, the following weekend.

But before you feel too sorry for her, the Renaissance film has still earned the singer $61 million globally.

This puts Beyoncé’s net worth at $800 million.

To celebrate, she and Jay-Z decided to set a new record for real estate sales in California.

The couple bought a mansion which sprawls over 40,000 square feet and cost $200 million.

William Bell, the owner, had paid $14.5 million for it in 2003 and spent 15 years adding personal (and expensive) touches to the place.

That’s a long time to work on what many joke looks like a fancy Amazon warehouse.
