The CAD files for what is purported to be the Apple iPhone 16 Pro recently surfaced online.

It’s thought this is offering a glimpse into Apple’s upcoming flagship.

According to tech news site, 91mobiles, the smartphone will look similar to the iPhone 15 Pro.

However there are several notable differences.

The iPhone 16 Pro is said to be slightly larger than the current model, measuring 149.6 x 71.4 x 8.4 mm (5.9 x 2.8 x 0.3 inches).

The website’s industry sources go on to say it’ll have a 15.5 cm (6.1 inch) display.

However, older leaks seemed to suggest the smartphone will have a 16 cm (6.3 inch) screen.

91mobiles has reported the larger display due to the leaked dimensions and the renders revealing thinner bezels surrounding the glass.

By far the biggest revision of the iPhone that the renders suggest, however is the rumored Capture Button.

It’s said to be located below the power button on the right side.

The Capture Button will make the photo-taking process more comfortable.

Tapping the screen will no longer be required.

A report from January has offered more detail on its functionality.

Lightly tapping the new Capture Button helps the camera focus.

On the other hand, a complete press takes a photo like a traditional camera shutter button.

With the same three-lens real-camera design as the iPhone 15 Pro.

This puts an end to February’s rumors that Apple was going to ditch the round camera and replace it with a triangle.

Seems the camera of the iPhone 16 Pro will be sticking with tradition with the same 5X tetraprism telephoto camera as the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

It’s not mentioned in the leak whether the iPhone 16 Pro will have optical image stabilization – but such zoomed-in shots require robust stabilization.

A 48MP ultra-wide camera and a 3,355mAh battery is also anticipated.

It’s expected the iPhone 16 Pro will be revealed alongside the fourth-generation iPhone SE and the Apple Watch X in its annual September event.

However, iPhone 17 leaks suggest you’re better off skipping the 16 and waiting for its successor.

From researching the most ‘Google-able’ key terms to producing evergreen content - it’s been a time of hard work, growth, and success for the editorial team and the Supercar Blondie website. “I like to think of myself as a ‘method journalist’. When writing about fitness, I trained as a personal trainer, and as a beauty editor, I completed an ‘expert’ in scent diploma with the Fragrance Foundation. “During my tenure at Supercar Blondie, however, I did something I never thought possible: I passed my driving test at the age of 36. One day I’d love to train as a mechanic to better understand what happens under the hood, too. “My sweet spot is providing readers with a ‘takeaway’ (read: something new they didn’t know before) after reading every one of my stories.
