Panerai unexpected partnership with Brabus is really heating up with this second watch release.

It’s called the ‘Submersible S Brabus Blue Shadow Edition’ and it combines avant-garde manufacturing techniques with traditional Swiss watchmaking.

The case is made from titanium but it is shaped using 3D printing, and it is complemented with a bezel and crown made from Carbotech, a composite material invented and patented by Panerai.

And on top of that, the dial is skeletonized, which means you can see the automatic movement that powers it.

Panerai was founded in Florence, Italy in 1860 but it is now a subsidiary of Richemont, a multi-national holding company based out of Switzerland.

They’ve worked with other car brands in the past (including Ferrari) but this is different because this new partnership with Brabus has a strong focus on materials and technology.

Of course, it all comes at a cost: they only made 200 of them, each with a price tag of $61,000.
